On the morning of CJ and Nix’s wedding – I was watching the rain radar with great interest. We had a window of 90 mins for their outdoor photoshoot and it looked like about halfway through that – the rain was coming! Nix and I chatted and we decided to stick with Plan A and duck for cover when we needed it. We made it into the most perfect forest location just as the sun came out. “Pffft – weather people!” I thought. What do they know. Five minutes in, and things started to get pretty dark overhead. “Hmmm.” we thought. Might be time to head for the cars. We started our evacuation, but abut 1 minute too late! Not only did we get caught in the craziest heavy rain of the day – but it even started hailing!
You would think this may be enough to put a damper on a couple’s wedding day – but not Nix and CJ! They snuggled together under the shelter of their umbrellas and the forest branches and chatted while the worst of it passed. Never for a moment seeming too worried.
I know I have said it before – but we have the BEST couples!
