Christine and Dale met in High School, so have known each other for ages, but it wasn’t until their university days that they started hanging out together more and realised that they had something pretty special.
I was lucky enough to catch up with them a few months before their wedding for an epic photoshoot out at Karekare beach. It was so cool in fact, that I was starting to worry that we had set the bar too high. How could their wedding photos ever compete? Well – not only did we get the most perfect wedding day weather conditions (despite the forecast threatening heavy rain!) but these guys were so natural and effortless, that I’m pretty sure we knocked it out of the park 😉

Christine and Dale got ready in the same beautiful place, and after their first look – we explored some of Auckland’s urban gardens, with the challenge to make the inner city look like a magical grove. Their ceremony was at The Community of Saint Luke Church (keep scrolling to see some of the epic natural spotlights inside!) and after a quick stop at some of Kumeu’s finest spots – we headed to their reception at Kumeu Valley Estate.
Christine happened to mention to us that even before they started planning their wedding – that she had chosen us as her wedding photographers and that it was non-negotiable. No pressure huh? We hope we lived up to the hype guys!
