Stephanie & Dan’s Autumn Wedding

Steph and Dan’s married in April at Auckland’s Kumeu Valley Estate, and we were able to get some gorgeous autumn wedding photos. We have asked Steph and Dan to answer some of our questions for our future couples and here what they told us.

What is your favourite memory of the day?

Steph: Seeing each other for the first time on the day at the first look photo shoot, and then following that, it would have to be walking back down the aisle after saying I do (below)!

Dan: The brief time just before we were officially announced as husband and wife, and entered dinner. We had a drink outside with just the parents and got to enjoy a moment to take things in before the party began.

What is your favourite photo and why? 

Both: The one of us holding hands looking at each other on Shelly beach, in front of the cliff bank. It captures us well and authentically, plus a beautiful setting.

What surprised you on the day?

Both: How fast everything went but also how the day just rolled so smoothly! 

What was one thing you wish you had known before planning your wedding? 

Both: Planning was a huge part of the fun for us, looking back. So make sure to take the time to enjoy that part.

What’s your advice for future couples? 

Both: Live in the moment on the day and enjoy every minute. Don’t sweat the small stuff, it will all work out.
