A bit about light.

We LOVE shooting at night. We’re total lighting geeks, and we can’t help getting super excited when we have the opportunity to do things a bit out of the ordinary.
For instance… ceremonies at dusk / twilight / night… or by candlelight… Don’t be afraid to try something different. We’re confident to shoot in pretty much any situation you throw at us 🙂

We also love the idea of filling your reception venue with AS MUCH LIGHT as possible. Think fairy lights. Think lanterns. Uplights. Hurricane lamps. Tealights. Festoons. Uplight trees at your venue. Hang lanterns & fairy lights off tree branches. Create an amazing indoor & outdoor ambience.
The more light you can add, the cooler and more amazing it will look. Check out companies such as La Lumiere for lighting hire options. It will make your wedding photos that much more unique & atmospheric.

Allow some time

We can create some pretty cool images at night – using our own lighting, plus whatever we have to work with around your venue. Here’s a bunch of our favourite night photos we’ve created at weddings. It’s a perfect way to get something totally different feeling to the location shots earlier in the day… and we only need to whisk you outside for 10 minutes or so to get some shots like this. The guests won’t even realize you’re gone!
