Barn Wedding Photos

I’ll often make a few notes after catching up with couples and chatting about their wedding day. Almost a year ago Mel and I caught up for a beer and my notes say – “Getting married at her parents farm. Mel is AWESOME!”
I think I must have been having way too much fun to make any more notes after that.
I’m pleased to report, that when I finally did meet Lyndon – he was equally awesome and it’s easy to see why these guys are such a perfect couple.
Months of hard work, had transformed Mel’s parents home from a functional (albeit beautiful) deer farm, into the perfect venue for their wedding. Pretty much everything happened on site – the ceremony was on the back lawn overlooking the mount, we explored the hills for their photos, and the reception took place in the engineering shed!
Mel had decided to enter in style – and having a Dad who is a helicopter pilot certainly helped with this! Cranleigh surprised the bridesmaids in the morning by flying the helicopter right on to the lawn of the house – their reactions were the best!
Mel and Lyndon, thank you so much for allowing us to capture your wedding day! We have many more photos to come!!!
