We have recently reached out and asked our couples to share some memories of their wedding day. The moments they loved, things they wish they’d known before, and any tips for future brides and grooms. Our hand picked gallery below tells the story of Mayank and Shivani’s Markovina celebrations, with vows shared under the beautiful chestnut tree, followed by their special Indian ceremony with family and friends. What is your favourite memory of the day?

Mayank: To be honest it was all such a beautiful blur, but if I were to pick one memory it would be sharing our vows under the chestnut tree.

Shivani: I loved it all but there is a special place in my heart for the Indian wedding ceremony. It was beautiful. And reading a letter from Mayank on arrival at the venue – before our first look. That was super thoughtful.

What surprised you on the day?

Mayank: How fast the day went.

Shivani: How surreal the day feels.

What was one thing you wish you had known before planning your wedding?

Mayank: I wouldn’t change a thing.

Shivani: Wear trainers/sneakers/flats to the location shoot. My feet were dying in heels.

What’s your advice for future couples?

Mayank: Enjoy your day as much as you can because it goes so quick!!

Shivani: It all works out in the best possible way in the end.

What is your favourite photo and why?

Mayank: My favourite photo is of Shivani and I surrounded by the bamboo.

Shivani: The ceremony photos are my favourite, but I love all of them!
