Rebecca & Georgin
Indian Orthodox Wedding | Auckland Wedding Photographer | Cultural Weddings
Rebecca and Georgins wedding day was one big adventure, and they loved every minute of it. We have been asking our brides and grooms some questions to guide our future couples when planning their wedding, so read on to see what advice they have, and then check out their beautiful gallery below.
What is your favourite memory of the day?
There were so many favourite parts of the day right from our first look, our photoshoot, through to watching the video messages our family and friends from overseas sent to us. Two of our absolute favourite standout memories of the day were, the moment we actually ‘tied the knot’ and just soaking up our celebrations, and where we let our hair down and danced the night away at our reception with our friends and family.
What surprised you on the day?
Honestly, it was how perfectly and smoothly the day went. It was truly what both of us has imagined and we thoroughly enjoyed each and every moment, right from the wedding ceremony through to the celebrations in the evening.
What was one thing you wish you had known before planning your wedding?
Don’t get too stressed about the weather (especially if it is a cloudy, drizzly day like ours was), the day will still be so special and beautiful.
What’s your advice for future couples?
Savour and soak your Wedding day all in, as it goes by so quickly! One way to do this is to truly invest in amazing photographers such as the Perspectives team, as we often relive many of those special moments from our wedding through the beautiful emotions that were captured throughout the day, and not only of us but our friends and family.
What is your favourite photo and why?
There are so many to choose from, but our top two would be where we are looking at each other in the woods with the beautiful yellow leaves surrounding us from above and the other would be where we are looking up, out into the distance in a tropical forest setting after an outfit change into my wedding sari.
