{"id":18273,"date":"2018-04-17T15:57:49","date_gmt":"2018-04-17T03:57:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.perspectives.co.nz\/?p=18273"},"modified":"2020-05-07T18:43:16","modified_gmt":"2020-05-07T06:43:16","slug":"auckland-backyard-wedding-eleisha-paul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/perspectives.co.nz\/auckland-backyard-wedding-eleisha-paul\/","title":{"rendered":"Eleisha + Paul"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">Backyard Wedding<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">photographed by Isaac<\/p>\n<p>Eleisha &amp; Paul were married on their own property in Dairy Flat, Auckland.<br \/>\nWhen I asked Eleisha what her plans were on the morning of the wedding day, she said &#8220;oh &#8211; hair &amp; makeup will be around 12 noon&#8221;.<br \/>\n&#8220;What will you be up to before that?&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;Oh &#8211; just setting up a few things here&#8221;.<br \/>\nTurns out &#8211; &#8216;setting up a few things&#8217; equals being totally badass. Driving around on the quad bike, chopping bits of toi toi for decorations using a machete, banging up dart boards with a nail gun &#8230; these guys know how to do it!<br \/>\nFriends &amp; family pitched in to help in the morning, and within a few hours the marquee was decked out &amp; looking amazing.<br \/>\nBack at home, Eleisha began getting her makeup done &#8211; and it was pretty quickly apparent that soft, neutral bridal tones weren&#8217;t on the menu today. So many style points!<br \/>\nTheir heartfelt ceremony included many tears &#8211; and afterwards the rain turned on an unexpected downpour, right as we were heading out to take some photos! Luckily, the sun made a breakthrough shortly afterwards and we had the chance to go play with Eleisha&#8217;s horses.<br \/>\nEveryone tucked into delicious paella for dinner, and the cute caravan bar kept the drinks flowing all night long. Even the stars made an appearance late in the night &#8211; a perfect way to finish.<br \/>\nThis is just a tiny sneak peek of Eleisha &amp; Paul&#8217;s photos &#8211; there are more than 500 still to follow!
