Shannon + Michael
Woodlands Estate Hamilton wedding photos
Photographed by Isaac and Amy
They say that when it rains on your wedding day, it signifies good luck.
Well, Shannon & Michael are due for a lifetime of good luck, judging by the amount of water that fell from the skies throughout their wedding day!
We definitely got a few breaks where necessary through – enough time to take the bridal party for a wander through the gorgeous grounds at Woodlands for some photos. We made sure to stop off at the Oaks, where the ceremony was initially intended to be.
With Michael, his Dad, and all the groomsmen being volunteer firefighters, it was tradition for Michael and the boys to collect the hoses from the fire station and use them to line the aisle. After setting them up amongst the trees, they were then hastily re-arranged for plan B in the sheltered option!
The most important thing, on a rainy wedding day, is that you don’t let the weather stop you from having fun!
This wasn’t a problem for Shannon & Michael, they were only too happy to come outside and play in the rain for a few epic rain shots!
This is just a tiny preview of the photos – there’s more than 600 still to follow 🙂 Enjoy!
