Sam + Emma
Backyard marquee wedding in Waikato
Photographed by Isaac & Amber
Sam & Emma were married on a stunning private property in Horahora, near Lake Karapiro in Cambridge.
Emma is an old school friend of mine, so it was nice seeing both her & a bunch of familiar faces at the wedding.
Around at the boys, they kicked the day off shooting a few clay pigeons (and an unsuspecting groomsman’s jandals).. before heading back to get ready in a cool little bush hut on site.
Emma & the girls spent their morning getting the final touches ready on the beautiful marquee reception – which included plates hand collected from various sources, and 7 wedding cakes made by her grandmother!
The ceremony was led by Sam’s Aunt – which made for a super personal & intimate experience. Afterwards, we put the bridal party to the test by repeatedly blowing dandelions through the back of the image to create an awesome effect 🙂
Finally, we headed back to document the party as it unfolded – and without further ado, we’ll show you pictures of all that & more!
