Out in the Styx wedding

Craig and Justine were married just a few hundred metres from the spot they first met – on the slopes of Maungatautari.
Their intimate wedding could not have been more perfectly suited to them – chilled and relaxed – they took everything in their stride.
We had planned to go for a walk in the morning, so when we awoke to the sound of rain, my heart sunk a little and I wondered if they would still be keen to persevere. I don’t think it even crossed their minds for a moment that the rain would spoil their plans and off we went – rain coats and all!

Justine had been a volunteer up on the mountain, so we were given a VIP access up to the best spots and a lift up in the most bad-ass van.
They opted for a “first-look” so they could spend the afternoon with their guests. I think their groomsmen got the most emotional of all 😉
Their ceremony was perfectly ‘them’ – It was officiated by family and attended by all four of their grandmothers which made it all the more special.
