We reached out to Angie and Grant, and asked them to go back over their day to answer some of our questions. Keep reading to see what advice they have for you, before planning your special day.
What is your favourite memory of the day?
One of my favourite memories from our wedding days, is that quiet, heartfelt moment when I walked down the aisle to meet Grant (see below). It was a magical, personal experience captured so beautifully by Amber, preserving the essence of that special day. Additionally, seeing my family before taking that walk added an extra touch of magic to the occasion.
What surprised you on the day?
What surprised us most on our wedding day was the overwhelming love and joy that emanated from our family and friends. The genuine excitement and readiness to celebrate created an electrifying atmosphere. Amber brilliantly captured those moments of pure joy, turning them into cherished memories that we’ll forever hold close.
What was one thing you wish you had known before planning your wedding?
I wish I had known before planning our wedding how crucial it is to prioritise and delegate tasks. The process can be overwhelming, and having a well-organised plan and support system in place would have alleviated some stress. Communication and teamwork are key in making the journey smoother.
What’s your advice for future couples?
For future couples, prioritise communication, share laughter, and meticulously review contracts. Our experience, navigating through unexpected challenges like COVID, taught us the importance of these elements in creating a resilient and joyful wedding journey.
What is your favourite photo and why?
My favourite photo has to be the one captured in the alleyway (image below). Amber pulled this spot out of the bag! As it was the last spot on our way to the hotel for our ceremony, it felt incredibly fun and nostalgic. One side, dark with captivating light, resembling a big pipe, perfectly fitting for Grant, who’s a welder. On the other side, it unexpectedly showcased our adventures in Europe – a magical and memorable spot, making it a truly special moment frozen in time. I have used this photo on our Thank You cards!

“Amber was absolutely gorgeous on the day, and fitted in so well with our tribe. Grant is not comfortable in-front of the camera, yet Amber made it easy! The chat was great and all the laughter too, I honestly can’t recommend her enough! Thank you XXX”
