Hayley & Jackson’s Chapel Wedding at The Henley, Cambridge

Hayley and Jackson married in the quaint chapel at The Henley, amongst their closest friends and family. If you’ve been following us for a while, you’ll know that Perspectives started when we lived in the Waikato. The Henley (previously Sarnia Park) was our second home for a while. It’s been a number of years since we were there, and it was so cool to see all the incredible changes that have taken place – as well as some of the iconic spots that still felt familiar. There is a huge range of photo spots at the Henley. All the photos you see below were taken on site.
We asked Hayley and Jackson to reflect on their wedding day – and here’s what they told us.
What is your favourite memory of the day?
We had many amazing memories on the day. But if we had to choose just one, our favourite memory was walking out of the chapel through a rose petal toss from our friends and family, with the chapel bell ringing.
What surprised you on the day?
Although we had done a lot of planning, it surprised us just how well things ran to schedule for the whole day – which was a nice surprise!
What’s your advice for future couples?
Every wedding is different, but having a detailed run sheet for the day should help ease any nerves as well as make sure everyone’s on the same page and keep things running on track – which will make the big day less stressful!
What is your favourite photo and why?
The photo of us in front of the Chapel looking at one another, it shows our love for each other and the beautiful setting of our day.
