At the end of the night, we approached Chris to say our goodbyes. We shook hands, chatted about the day a little, then Chris said this to us: “Jared, I didn’t do anything for you guys, we just had our day, our way”. And although it might sound a little harsh, that was music to our ears!! For us, the most honest film we can make is one which truly captures their story without us forcing our own template on them.

So for Chris and Moira, this meant telling the story of their loved son Patrick, two 100-year-old rings, a Holden 1964 EH Station Wagon and the 3 virtues: Respect, Honesty and Kindness.
