The Boatshed Karapiro Wedding

What you’ll notice as you look through Kate and Warwick’s wedding photos, was that it was just about the most relaxed, chilled out, perfect day you could hope for. Both Kate and Warwick got ready surrounded by friends and family – and it was so cool to see all the different connections – they’re all incredibly close and it was pretty special to be surrounded by people who obviously care for each other so much.
Kate and Warwick decided to do their photos before the ceremony to make the most of their time with their guests, and Kate’s family home had just the right spot for this. We had been secretly crossing our fingers for clouds, and like magic they appeared right at the perfect time.
As we got ready for the ceremony – we watched the dark clouds rolling in – (maybe we had wished a little too hard for clouds!) but the weather gods were most certainly on our side, as it held until the very minute that Kate and Warwick walked into their reception and then the heavens opened and it was on!
At this point there is a story to be told. You’ll see further down a whole bunch of photos of guests on their phones. No, they’re not being impolite!
As their MC was reading out the apologies from people who would have loved to be there – he gets to one and says “Now this guy, he really has no excuse for not being here – so what I want you all to do is get out your phones and send a message something along the lines of “why aren’t you at the wedding?! – here is his number”
The poor guy wouldn’t have known what hit him!
