Andy and Katie’s celebration epitomised everything that weddings are about.
There was laughter and tears, humour and elegance, incredible friends and very proud families.
There was adventuring to new and exciting secret forests (Andy, Katie and their bridal party win the award for the most epic hill climbing ever!)
A band comprised 100% of wedding guests that changed members every song (and had some ingeniously improvised instruments).
There were games and challenges.
But at the heart of it were two of the sweetest people, who were just so excited to be getting married.

Andy and Katie decided to get ready together, so the morning was incredibly relaxed as they popped between rooms and chatted about their plans for the day. Even at this stage of the morning – Katie was grace and elegance personified.

Even though Katie was tucked away just down the hall – her bridesmaids weren’t going to let Andy whisk her away that easily.
They had concocted a series of challenges Andy and his boys had to perform to prove Andy’s worthiness of the lovely Katie.

Needless to say, Andy passed with flying colours, so we snuck off for a few pre-ceremony photos.

Andy and Katie wanted to acknowledge their parents with a tea ceremony, that had most of the room in tears.

Dress number two was donned, and it was go time!

The challenges weren’t quite over for Andy and Katie – with their guests wanting to check just how well they knew each other.
Impressively Andy and Katie were both able to pick their new husband or wife from a lineup completely blindfolded. Andy was even able to guess from just the back of Katie’s hand – although to be fair – it did come down to a 51% vs 49% guess.

Yes – you are seeing correctly.
That is a drummer using a candlestick and a twig as drumsticks.
