Tui Hills

Carmen + Rui are high school sweethearts – so their wedding day was a long time in the making.
Surrounded by family and friends at the beautiful Cassels (now Tui Hills!), they said their vows as we all nervously watched the rain clouds start to roll in. The timing was perfect – as everyone started to head inside – we felt the first spots of rain.
Our plan A was to head to Bethells Beach, and it was a bold call as we set out in the rain, but their perseverance paid off, as the skies cleared and we had the most gorgeous light.
10 points to Carmen and Rui’s amazing bridal party – who climbed the steepest sand dune (some of them in heels!) and kept smiling and laughing as they were battered about by the weather. You guys were amazing.
Back at Tui Hills, Rui and Carmen had a tea ceremony to honour their families and then it was all on. With spontaneous celebrations erupting throughout the room at all times, their reception was an incredible party even without a dancefloor!
