Beach engagement shoot

We caught up with Ashlee & Rhys on the beach one afternoon for an engagement shoot. Keeping things super chill is really important for us & the way we shoot … and doing the engagement session is a great way to relax around having your photos taken!
The shoot kicked off with some stunning afternoon golden light – Ashlee & Rhys were just chatting away and laughing with each other, while we snapped quietly away.
As the sun began to drop towards the horizon, we headed down to the water to photograph the sunset colours hitting the sky.
We loved Ashlee’s gorgeous, simple white dress – so floaty and beachy, perfect for this shoot!
The great thing about an engagement shoot is that you really can just be yourselves – wear whatever you’re comfortable in – and let the photos be a reflection of your relationship!
