Parsi Wedding Photographer Auckland

Rhea and Aatish held their wedding at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland. Having everything in one place meant that their day was incredibly streamlined, and they were able to spend as much time as possible with their friends and family and not traveling between locations.
This was the first ceremony I have photographed at the Pullman, and the outdoor courtyard was completely unique. Surrounded by white washed buildings, they were completely in the shade come afternoon. It had the unique feeling of openess and privacy at the same time.
Their wedding was a traditional Parsi ceremony. We were grateful for having photographed Malcolm and Delzin’s Parsi wedding a few years ago, as it meant we knew exactly the moments to watch out for. Parsi weddings are a beautiful mix of tradition, good humour and the whole community coming together to support the couple.
The plan had been to take a few photos after an outfit change, but as the timeline got tighter (they always do!) we took just a “light change at the intersection” worth of time for a few quick portraits (under a minute for sure!) and then we were racing back to the reception.
Their dancefloor was absolutely next level with their DJ doubling as a live drummer who really got everyone moving!
We plan to catch up again soon and take some more wedding photos, without the pressure of the wedding timeline – so watch this space! Looking forward to seeing you soon Rhea and Aatish.
