Officers Mess Wedding

Blake and Laura had all the stars align for them for their wedding day. Not only did the rain magically melt away by ceremony o clock, but they had the perfect tide timing also. Low tide meant we could wander the full length of Narrowneck beach and enjoy some of the hidden driftwood gems that are often inaccessible. And the cherry on top – an amazing sunset!
Laura and her bridesmaids got ready up in Omaha at the most beautiful beachside place – which  made the whole morning feel like we were on vacation. They chilled out, laughed and danced their way through the morning without a hint of stress.
A highlight of the day was when Laura’s sister serenaded them for their first dance. When the mic decided not to work – she stepped up and sung without any mic at all. It meant everyone was listening intently and made for the most amazing atmosphere. So cool!
Blake and Laura between them have 8 wonderful parent figures – and it was incredibly heartwarming to see such a great tribe of supporters rally together to support their kids getting married. We were fortunate enough to be a part of Blake’s mum’s wedding a few years ago, and it was so lovely to see some familiar faces about.
We have loved getting to know you guys. Thank you for the restaurant recommendations and some great chats! We wish great things for you in your new adventures and will look forward to seeing you again.
