Dave & Lorraine’s wedding was truly an international event – a strong crew of people from all over the world came together on Waiheke Island to celebrate with them.
And such a gorgeous spot to showcase the beauty of New Zealand, too!
We were blessed with a lovely soft, overcast day (photographers dream light!) and not scorchingly hot.
Before the wedding, Dave & Lorraine met one another on the beach for their ‘first look’ and bridal party photos.
I just love the shots of Lorraine coming across the beach towards Dave, and the look of anticipation on his face.
This also means that after the wedding ceremony, they had plenty of time to just relax and enjoy their guests’ company – rather than leaving everyone hanging while we go off and take photos. It’s such a great way to structure a wedding day.
Dave & Lorraine had practised an awesome first dance, and pulled it off without a hitch (well, nothing that we could tell, anyway!) – to the delight of all the guests.
