Sam and Vidusha married at the Markovina Estate and were not even slightly deterred by New Zealand’s four seasons in a day! Some of their (and our) favourite images are the ones taken in the rain. We asked Sam and Vidusha to relive some of the moments on their wedding day, and this is what they told us:

What is your favourite memory of the day? Walking back down the aisle with everyone cheering us on in our first moments as husband and wife was amazing and surreal at the same time.

What surprised you on the day? We thought we’d be stressed making sure everything goes to plan… But we totally forgot about all that and truly enjoyed the day.

What’s your advice for future couples? Trust your vendors and don’t be afraid to ask questions, even outside their area of expertise. They’ve seen it all before and want your day to go well.

What is your favourite photo and why? We definitely have more than one! When we were walking down the aisle and the confetti is being thrown over us, this is one of our favourite memories. We also really love the rain photos, they are magical.
