Markovina Kumeu Wedding

You’ll notice this blog starts a little differently. Xinran and David  really wanted to include some beach photos, but logistically it was going to be a bit of a stretch. So a week before their wedding, Xinran put on her wedding ‘party dress’ and we headed out to Muriwai. After all these years of sunset hunting – you’d think I might be better at predicting what’s going to happen each evening – but I guess the surprise factor is all part of the fun! A huge dark moody cloud rolled in but left us just enough light for the sun to peek through at the bottom. We couldn’t have asked for cooler!
Fast forward a week – and the day couldn’t have been more different! After a super cute first look – we snuck out to a secret cherry blossom location which was in the height of spring perfection. I don’t even think you can tell by looking at the blossom photos that Xinran and David are surrounded by bees 😉
The epic wasn’t finished though – Xinran and David had been holding on to a bunch of sparklers and created a dramatic entrance into their first dance. And then it was party time!
