“Scotland, what was wrong with Scotland?” asked the travel weary groomsman.

It’s quite a good question actually. Stu grew up in Scotland, Heather in Luxembourg and they met at a university in Edinburgh. But it somehow happened that they married on the complete opposite end of the earth in Clyde, Central Otago. (Long story, will tell over a pint someday!)

So by a river, they got married and will stay that way till becoming extinct. Stu the Scotsman stayed “true” and Heather wore a dress from long long ago.

There was also a vintage VW camper that featured too. It was the exact same year and model Heather’s parents drove while she was growing up in Luxembourg, so a good find there! It turns out it’s quite the trooper. Not only did it navigate the dusty hills of Central Otago on the way to their first look, but also the whole of the North Island on their honeymoon!!

All in all, it was an amazing day, and we’re totally stoked to be able to give you all a little glimpse into Stu and Heather’s most fun, humorous and down to earth wedding day. I hope you all enjoy it!
