Destination wedding photography in London

I was lucky enough to head over to Europe this summer to capture a few destination weddings – the first being Jess & Nick, who were married at London’s Islington Town Hall.
I first came across Jess & Nick when I photographed friends of theirs ( Simon & Susannah’s Wellington wedding photos ) – and it was cool seeing so many Kiwi faces over on the other side of the world!
There were a few nods to Jess’ kiwi heritage through the day too, including some silver fern cufflinks / hairpieces making an appearance, along with some equally London-esque elements like the red phone box wishing well 🙂
After their ceremony at the very impressive Islington Town Hall, they headed to nearby Almeida Restaurant, where the kitchen was one of the most impressively tight run operations I’ve ever seen (it’s always so interesting have a behind-the-scenes peek at what’s going on!) – and the food was equally impressive.
