Church of the Holy Sepulchre

Ben & Judy were married in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Auckland, on one of the hottest days of the summer thus far!
During their wedding ceremony in the church, they also paid their respects to Judy’s parents by performing a traditional cultural bow – which made for some lovely emotional moments.
Afterwards, they chilled with their guests in the church hall for a lunch reception. Plenty of amazing food and delicious cake – and then it was time to head off for a bit of a creative photo session.
When I asked what kind of photos they liked – Judy said “nature” and Ben said “urban” haha – so we mixed a little of both into our shoot. After a quick tour of Auckland city centre, we headed off to their reception dinner – a much smaller, relaxed affair with only immediate family and a few friends.
After the dinner, we managed to sneak back out for a couple of sunset photos – wrapping things up with some cool urban night shots in town.
