Heritage Auckland Wedding photos

Vicki and Charlie were pretty much the dream photography clients. When I caught up with them a few weeks before their wedding, the brief for the style of photos they wanted was “something awesome”. They told us, “we love your photos and trust you to find us something great”. Oh the freedom!
With this brief in mind, we decided to go with a bit of everything. A beautiful Ivy wall was one of those spur of the moment discoveries, en route to our urban locations, we even managed to sneak some time at Herne Bay beach – we were spoilt for choice.
Vicki and Charlie’s reception was held in the Heritage Hotel, in the art deco Grand Tearoom – this has to be one of my favourite buildings in Auckland! I think mostly because it’s such an incredible surprise once you have wound your way down regular looking hotel corridors, to all of a sudden emerge into this beautiful open space always takes my breath away a bit!
