When Laura + Laura’s wedding celebrant got up to welcome the guests to the ceremony – she had an apology to make. Her name… was also Laura. After the laughter subsided, the most beautiful ceremony began – and not even a rain shower could dampen the spirits of these two amazing ladies.
Laura and Laura’s morning had started bright and early with more than the usual hair and makeup to get through! Staying in the same house, but not wanting to see each other before they were dressed and ready meant careful tactical planning by their bridal parties and the occasional call of “Bride entering the house!” when paths needed to be crossed.
It was all worth it though – their first look was one of the coolest ideas we have seen – you’ll have to keep reading to see what we mean!
We were spoilt for locations at Kumeu Grand Estate where the girls got ready, and after some photos around the grounds we left the bridal party to their workout (yes – workout) and headed off to a secret magic forest!
Laura + Laura – we had the very best day with you and can’t wait to show you more photos!
P.s. An extra special congratulations must go out to the third Laura of this day – their friend, celebrant and MC Laura Giddey – who celebrated her 100th wedding ceremony! It was wonderful to share such a milestone with you!
