Engagement photos, adventure sessions – whatever you want to call them – we’re big fans. We always say that no matter what the weather – we’ll create something epic for you. But some days the weather is just on your side from the start.

Christine and Dale’s adventure session out at Karekare beach was glowing from start to finish. Not only was it a perfect sunny day, but the mist rolled in from the crashing waves, making the most epic haze that lit up as the light got lower.

We were all done and heading back to the car when I happened to look behind at Christine and Dale crossing the stream – perfectly reflected and silhouetted against the perfect gradient of light. It’s funny how often the very best photos happen after we’re officially finished!
