Sam + Nathalie
Cooks Beach Wedding Photos
Photographed by Amber and Courtney
This is what New Zealand summer feels like. Hanging out at the bach, family gathered, beers in hand – and as the sign so perfectly placed at Sam’s bach read “if you’re not barefoot, then you’re overdressed”.
Sam and Nathalie’s families have both been coming to Cook’s Beach for years, so it was the perfect place for their wedding. After a chilled out morning for both the guys and the girls – they made their way in style up to Shakespeare reserve where they had the most beautiful views out over the harbour.
I saw a motivational saying the other day that said “Be a ray of freaking sunshine”. I think Nat must have read this too, because a ray of sunshine is exactly how I would describe her. Her smile is absolutely contagious and affects everyone around her – especially Sam!
Their photoshoot on the beach felt more like a stroll with friends, and they frolicked (yes – frolicked) laughed and sung their way through the photos.
Back at Mercury Bay Estate, the show was well and truly stolen by Sam’s grandfather, Rex, who kept the guests well and truly entertained with his serenading – he even had help from his grandaughters!
Sam and Nat, it has been such a privilege getting to know you guys and your amazing crew. Enjoy the photos – I can’t wait to share more with you!
