As we watched the pouring rain out the hotel window the morning of the wedding – my optimism about having an outdoor photoshoot started to fade.
But just as we arrived at the ceremony – the torrential downpour changed to a light drizzle and by the time we were ready to go adventuring – the clouds had parted and we had the most gorgeous soft overcast light!
Chris and Jing decided that earlier on in the day they would have a tea ceremony to honour their parents and immediate family – and even this was filled with smiles and laughter.
We spent our afternoon exploring the Auckland domain and even found some sneaky tucked away spots.
