Bracu wedding photos

Trent and Connie were married just over a week ago at Bracu Pavilion. The weather forecast looked pretty grim – and Auckland sure did deliver… rain, wind, and general chaos ensued pretty much the entire day!
Trent and Connie were totally happy to just roll with it though – we headed out in the rain & scored some awesome rain photos plus a bit of respite in the warmth of the wine library.
On a personal note this wasn’t just a wedding about Trent and Connie. Jayda is Trent’s daughter and a very special part of the 3 strong team! So it was awesome to be able to capture Jayda’s part in the wedding day as ring bearer. And as a surprise to everyone Jayda got up and gave a speech at the reception!
Some of the most meaningful and powerful moments we video come when people choose to share spoken thoughts with those they love. So hat’s off to Jayda for saying a speech. It totally summed up the whole day and we’re stoked to have captured the story for the three of you!

Trent & the boys helped set up the venue in the morning, followed by a range of awesome activities on site at Bracu – shooting, archery,  – even knife throwing.
Check out the awesome capture Priscilla made – not only a claybird right on the point of impact – but even the little cloud of shotgun pellets frozen in mid air!

On the way to the ceremony, Connie stopped off to see her grandmother at the rest home. Apparently, all the residents had spent the week looking forward to having a bride coming to visit!

Trent’s daughter & Connie’s niece were the two ring bearers – they were each gifted with a little necklace in the morning to hold the rings on.
Which kept them very safe – in fact, a little too safe for Trent to get it off again in the ceremony!

After the ceremony everyone ran the gauntlet across to the Pavilion – typically, this was probably the heaviest rain of the day!

We’re not too phased by rain though – a bit of lighting (our poor equipment gets a little soggy) and presto – epic rain shots.
