Taylor and Paige first met at university when they ended up in the same hall of residence. During the introductions, one of the residential advisors jokingly said that this might be the place that some of them would meet their future husbands and wives! They laughed it off like everyone else, but fast forward 7 years and here they are!

They both fell in love with Bayly’s Farm from the very first visit and as soon as I arrived it was easy to see why.
I’d made the trek up to Northland the day before their wedding to have some time to settle in and get the lay of the land. Driving up to the venue and through the hills everything seemed calm and peaceful, but as soon as we climbed the hill to their ceremony spot, we were hit with the full force of the onshore winds.

While we are all for windy and wild, it was decided that somewhere more sheltered might be the go! Early the next morning Taylor returned and after a nervous hour wandering around, they made the call to head down the hill to the sheltered paddock below. It was the perfect call, and you wouldn’t have known it wasn’t plan A.

After a few photos on the beach and a quick dash down the road to the forest, we spent the rest of the night being entertained by their incredibly talented friends and family.

I was absolutely enchanted by Bayly’s Farm and I can’t wait to head back there one day!
