Georgia + David
Auckland Museum
Photographed by Isaac & Priscilla
Georgia & David were married in the stunning St. Matthew’s in the City church on a chilly winter’s Thursday in Auckland.
When we caught up a few weeks before the wedding, to chat about timings etc – I noticed that sunset was going to occur pretty much 15 minutes after the ceremony finished.. leaving the rest of the creative shoot to be in the dark.
This was actually super exciting – we love playing with lighting, and the idea of a wedding shoot at night was just the kind of thing to get me amped!
They were joined by their gorgeous two dogs during the ceremony, who were super well behaved considering it was a totally new environment filled with a bunch of new people – and St. Matthew’s proved to be one of the only churches happy to accommodate having dogs involved – so there you go!
After a super fun photo session in the central city, we headed to Auckland Museum for their reception. I love shooting inside the museum – half because it’s freaking epic being surrounded by dinosaur skeletons while you eat canapes – and half because I genuinely enjoy reading all the little descriptions on every exhibit – working and learning, all at the same time!
So here’s a tiny little preview of Georgia and David’s Auckland museum wedding – there’s more than 500 photos still to follow!
Enjoy 🙂
