Auckland wedding photography

Anna & Katy traveled over from Melbourne to Auckland for their wedding – along with an impressive 80 odd guests, all of whom also made the trip across the ditch. That’s a pretty amazing turnout for an international wedding – and just goes to show the importance their friends & family placed on being there to witness the occasion.
The legal ceremony took place in the registry office earlier in the day – and afterwards we headed out in the blazing hot NZ summer sun to do a few photos with Anna, Katy, and their impressively attired bridal party.
Following that, they had their ceremony – led by a friend of theirs – and incorporated traditions such as a hand binding ceremony, and jumping the broom!
We wrapped up our evening with a few dusk shots up the top of Mount Eden, watching dark descend over the city, before they headed off to continue with an afterparty 🙂
