Sally + Atif
Auckland Museum Wedding
Photographed by Amber and Zahn, Filmed by Jared and Jay
It doesn’t often happen like this, but Sally and Atif’s wedding day started just as it finished, with drums playing and people getting their boogie on. But as all weddings are celebrated with different tradition and colour, this was no surprise for Atif and Sally. Atif’s family warmed up their singing and their dance moves at home before joining Sally’s family to ‘collect’ the bride – it was beautiful chaos!
Their ceremony was held at the beautiful St Patrick’s cathedral and was made even more special with both a catholic and orthodox priest sharing the ceremonial duties. We spent the afternoon exploring some of Auckland’s grand architecture, we were even fortunate enough to have inside access to a completely empty museum for a few final photos.
Then just as it started, it ended, with dancing, and lots of it!! This was Sally and Atif to a tee, so here’s our capture of it below.
