We love hearing a bit more about our couples and my favourite question is “what makes you so awesome together?”
Here is what Mark and Maria had to say:
“We bonded over the great and the small: a love of bacon, a hatred of comic sans, a love of bush and beach walks, a hatred of squeakers in children’s shoes, a huge respect for the importance and value of family in our lives.
We’ve grown ourselves as a team, cooking together (although Maria is definitely the cleaner of the two cooks), socialising together, exploring and adventuring together and talking and laughing together.
When Maria stomps her feet in mock tantrum, it puts a big grin on Mark’s face. Mark has a tendency to want to wipe the kitchen benches down with a tea towel (this is what a sponge is for – see the note on the mock tantrum!). Noticing these little quirks deepens our relationship – we treasure what we see in and of the other that not everyone else does”.
We have loved getting to know you guys. Chilling out on a picnic rug talking about adventures in Africa is not something we get to do at every wedding, and we can’t wait to hear more about your amazing honeymoon!
