Daniel & Eliza met one another during their university studies – and ever since some Godfather-themed first dates, have been traveling around the world, doing cute stuff together, and planning their gorgeous wedding day.
With a special love for chandeliers – they even managed to find one to hang in the tree at Allely Estate, which they plan to now hang in their first home. Plus a gorgeous addition to an already stunning ceremony location!
Not wanting to leave their guests hanging for too long after the wedding, Daniel and Eliza chose to have a ‘first look’ moment with one another, and then do their photos with the bridal party – all before the ceremony. We headed out to Muriwai Beach and were thoroughly blustered around by the trademark westerly – and baked in the summer sun!
Just after entering the reception and having entrees – we noticed the most amazing golden sunlight streaming across a nearby field – so took the chance to sneak back out for 15 more minutes. Golden light is such a joy to shoot – and these guys were naturals, even getting a bit of practice in for the first dance (in Eliza’s newly shortened dress!).
