The year 2020 needs no introductions. The curveballs have been flying everywhere for everybody, including Akhilesh and Sharanya. They had originally planned to have their wedding in India and have one mighty big celebration. But obviously something else got in the way…

So come to September 2020 and Auckland was in level 2.5 lockdown. 10 people gatherings max. This meant for a much more intimate wedding than originally planned. But to their credit, they still went all out. They had both their engagement and wedding ceremonies at the Shree Swaminarayan Temple in Auckland and didn’t pull back on anything. The Temple was decorated beautifully and Sharanya still managed 5 outfit changes throughout!

Although their wedding never got to see Plan A (has anything in 2020?!), Plan B was still something quite beautiful and worth remembering. So here’s their very cinematic wedding film we made for them both. I hope you enjoy watching it!
